For those of you who watched Ghost Hunters last night you're privy to the fact that the Hawes and Wilson families did purchase the Spalding Inn in Whitefield, New Hampshire. I sense that down the road both Grant and Jason plan on using the Inn for planned events and paranormal related conferences as well as popular overnight accommodations for paranormal enthusiasts throughout the year as well as those interested in the Mount Washington Hotel just down the road. I may be guessing here but with such a large piece of property, I sense camping on the grounds as well for some reason. I have visions of a KOA on conference days. :)
Here's a review on last nights program from Above the Norm.
Recap: Spalding Inn
THE SPALDING INN
Kris & Jason Hawes and Reanna & Grant Wilson invite you to enjoy the Spalding Inn, located in the heart of the White Mountains in scenic Whitefield, New Hampshire, is one of New England’s most charming inns.
Surrounded by manicured lawns, orchards, perennial gardens and a 360* view of the Presidential Mountain range, it offers you the perfect escape from city life.
The comfortable 36 room inn takes you back in time and far away from your cares. The broad front porch provides the perfect place for reflection and taking in the mountain air and views. Discover hidden nooks for quiet times or chat in our lovely sun room. On chilly evenings a fire crackles in the stone fireplace of the main lobby.
The heart of any home is the kitchen, and so is the case with the Spalding Inn. Guests here can enjoy a free delicious home-made continental breakfast each morning and have the option of dining each evening at "The Blue Moose", our comfortable restaurant for the whole family that focuses on amazing food with reasonable prices.
Before or after dinner, food and cocktails are served in our unique "2 Kings Pub" located downstairs. Come enjoy our HDTV and billiard table.
The Spalding Inn is the perfect retreat, whether for a quiet romantic getaway, an active family vacation, a business meeting, or a perfect place for your wedding. Enjoy your stay at this special place in the beauty of the White Mountains.
The video below begins with the Spalding Inn and then moves on to other locations to visit while in the vicinity. One of those locations is the infamous Mount Washington Hotel, which is only 15 minutes away from the Spalding Inn. The video picks up the Spalding Inn again at the 9 minute mark.
